All the reviews that say this bag is cheap, or it’s not smell proof, or they don’t like the color… that’s all rubbish. This is the best smell proof bag I have purchased and I got it 3 months ago. No tears, no splits, no smell. It works perfectly. I’d recommend getting a little additional carry case for small items so you can just whip it out and go.Very durable!! I’ve purchased this item in multiple colors.I like that this backpack has the space I need. The double zipper design for the large portion of the backpack is amazing for keeping the loudest music quiet, so there won't be any noise complaints from your neighbors ;) My only gripe so far in the few months I've been using this backpack is: the smaller front pouch zipper is hard to open and close due to the design. I have to make sure to push the whole pocket up under the lip to make sure zippers will meet and glide smoother. The issue is mainly around curves, but even on the straightaways it struggles and hitches. This hinders my [frequent] use of the front pocket, I try to only open it part way so there's less to zip back up. Obviously it wasn't enough to remind me that, oh yea, I can return this and keep shopping for the perfect backpack....but I missed that train cuz loud music can lead to hearing loss [nudge nudge, wink wink]I should add that the larger portion, [remember, the part with the double zipper?] zips with ease.Really works surprisingly wellI was skeptical of getting this bag because it was a little bigger than what I needed. However, I went ahead and ordered it, and looking back, and I'm glad I did. Along with the smell proof part, another useful feature is the ability to make it skinny or fat with the strap system on the sides. So you can have it thin for a laptop or something like that, then if you needed to loosen the straps for a few changes of clothes while traveling, you could do that as well. The only thing I didn't care for is the inner zipper is somewhat hard to get in its place for the overlapping zipper to cross over without having to piddle with it. Once you get that part down, you can typically work it reasonably comfortably, but it does take some time to get used to it. They used great material and a significant amount of padding for your shoulders. It could also use a couple more inside pockets or even a concealed carry pocket that people couldn't easily find if they were to get in it without your knowledge. The bag also features a combination lock with resettable code for that extra layer of security that will be appreciated by many. Overall it's a great bag/backpack for the money, really well constructed. The lock is a nice feature and has held up well over ~6 months of heavy use. It does provide good reduction of smells. I have to take off 1 star because there is a way to open the bag even with it locked and make it appear as though it was never opened. I'm obviously not going to say how. The double zipper makes it somewhat more of a deterent, but still there is is way. Also, I think the activated carbon actually negatively effects the quality of certain items. I don't have any scientific proof of this just a theory.I like it. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it’s really not fully smell proof and I think the zipper system could be better. Out of box it was already hanging up and trying to slip off track
