Great for pocket door but inside pulley breaks easilyIf you need a locking pull for a pocket door there's not many options in the aftermarket, so this will do the job. However don't expect it to fit nearly as well as the handles that are installed on some doors. It also feels like a thinner, cheaper metal than many of the handles I've seen in stores that aren't locking. It looks great and the quality is well worth it for the price. Very happy once it's installed. Installation was pretty easy on a new slab. I installed mine after the door was installed so that made it a luttlecmore difficult but not bad. I highly recommend using a coping saw for this. If the slab is laid down then a jigsaw should work as well.My only complaint is that there needs to be more of a lip on the top one bottom of the latch to hide the cut edge of the cutout. The sides do this very well. I realize that they made it this way to fit flush with the door jamb but I don't know of many pocket doors (esp the non locking ones) where one would care about a very thin gap thus would cause.Again, happy with it overall and would buy again. Just take your time and don't cut the hole any larger than you have to. I cut slightly smaller and the sanded until it was a tight fit (gently used a rubber mallet).I found this handle to be of good quality. It has a nice finish which didn't exactly match most of my other door handles, but that was to be expected as those were made by another manufacturer (Kwikset) and the difference is not so much that it matters to me.My installation was on a new slab for a pocket door which had not yet been cut for a handle. With that said, I found installation to be easy and simple. Measurements are provided on the package and as long as you can measure and are comfortable using a saw (or maybe a router) to cut the notch, there should be little issue. If you are ordering this as a replacement for an existing handle, then it should be even easier. Just a couple if screws.Once installed the handle looks great and the pI'll lever that pops up works very well. It's easy to pop out, stays out while you're usin it and the falls back into place pretty easily.I have a 1960's pocket door and this product instantly made it look updated! My door already had the cut-out so it was easy to install the hardware. The removal of the old hardware and installation of the new hardware took about 5 minutes. This product was made well and a great value for the price. Would definitely purchase again!Perfect fit & replacement for our 1950's pocket doors! Nice modern update!PLEASE NOTE: If you appreciated this review please give it a “thumbs up/like” your helping me to continue to give honest/unbiased insight into products I’ve used and you may have questions about. Interested in a product but don't know enough about it and would like it reviewed? Please let me know and I'll see what I can do... Thank you ?I did a bathroom makeover from brushed nickel to ORB and this was the last item I needed to change on the door from the sink area to the toilet area. All of the options I found locally had a lock on them which takes space away from the handle depth and wasn't needed in my application. This one ticked all the boxes on my list.Looks good. Stamped metal seems a 'little thin' for what is essentially a very traditional piece of hardware. Installation required removal of a good chunk of the door frame and I would feel better if the part felt like it was replacing the missing wood with equal structural integrity. Time will tell. I installed 4 of these in solid cherry 3 panel doors.Much less expensive than the ones in the stores.Very easy to install. Good quality. It worked great for a replacement.pretty much does what it's supposed to! the finish is quite delicate - scratches easilyUsed this for my sliding bathroom door. Works as it is supposed to.Excellent product
