Size of knob/hardware was slightly larger than my current holes in the door (imperial vs. metric measurements maybe). The painting process is not clean. The door handle had bubbles/dirt in the rim as shown in pics. The dirt was all the way around the part ie I couldn’t orientate it to hide the marks.For my circa 1900 bungalow I replaced five builder-grade, bright brass knobs with these and am really happy with the result. When replacing existing knobs, these took maybe five minutes to switch out apiece; I didn’t even look at the instructions. Highly recommended.These are beautiful! I put them on all my doors. Heavy and very good quality. I love them. It changes the whole look to elegant and expensive looking.Very well built, good feel, looks elegant.
