I bought this after putting a chest freezer in my carport. I know it won’t keep someone out that has even mediocre bolt cutters but figured it would be a good deterrent. i figured it would be a good deterrent for any animals too.I wasn’t sure how well it would stick but I was shocked. I actually tried very hard to pull it off and it’s impossible without using tools. For the price this is exactly what I needed.Works very well. The lock is fine quality too. TAKE YOUR TIME and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS on the install. I mentioned maybe passing on the lock just because after I installed it, it looks like it wouldn’t be that hard to install it incorrectly, in a way where the lock wouldn’t fit right, and you would need to buy another. I installed it correctly, everything worked, the lock itself was fine quality, but we discovered that using a different lock, a small TSA luggage cable lock, worked a lot better for us. We could get the fridge open and shut considerably quicker.As the title says i havent used them yet however i will say it was a pleasant surprise to find locks with them when i order the ones without. I was having a bad day but that really made my day! I will also review again after i use them.Purchased for wine cooler (I have teens in home) easy to install, instructions easy to follow. The lock works properly.I was worried about the adhesive not being strong enough to last, but it is so strong and works exactly as advertised! It only took me two minutes to install and works immediately. Do not hesitate to buy this product, it’s perfect!My cat decided to start jumping from the top of the fridge to the floor. On the way down, she would somehow knock the freezer open. So this was suggested to me. No more freezer door standing wide open. That is what I wanted and it works great.Perfect !Very easy to apply.
