I received this today and installed it fairly quickly, despite the 3 drawbacks I experienced.First of the Main 3 issues I saw was: No instructions. For anyone not understanding that there is glass inside of these frames, this could lead to a major case of shattered glass.Second issue is the screws included only are good if you're installing both halves into metal (short, self tapping screws). I chose to attach the cord part deep into the wood frame surrounding my old patio slider (using my own long, thick wood screws) as there is no metal area that would safely be usable.Third issue is the lil plug that goes on the keyed half is too firm/solid to be easily removable. I had to drill one of the self tapping screws into it to pull it out due to me putting that half too close to the frame so when I opened my slider the door stuck half way open (another reason instructions would have been nice).Overall, with proper installation this is a good item. Just lacking in a few areas.
