482 SOLID BAR DOOR GUARD

• For use on doors that are flush with frames.
• The solid bar, interlocking with the ball on the strike plate, permits the door to be slightly opened to allow viewing.
• The hinged bar allows the door guard to be positioned 180° away from the door when not in use.
• Edge protection plate, furnished with cast brass door guards only, minimizes the chance of marring the door or frame. Can be purchased as a separate item for the Aluminum substrate;
• The strike plate is designed to prevent the solid bar from marring the inside of the door when in use.
• Packed with sheet metal screws.

  • Available with a chain or solid bar
  • Door guards provide an extra layer of security and allow the door to be slightly opened
• Angle stop:
  • Designed as an extra level of security
  • The angle stop is mounted to the door and pivots to hug the frame
• Latches/catches:
  • Various latches and catches are not designed to keep a door secure, but hold light interior doors shut
